Before your session, please take a moment to fill out the appropriate form below and answer a few questions to help me personalize your experience and session. I understand life is busy and your time is at a premium, so I appreciate your thoughtful answers. These answers will help me create the most beautiful session possible for you. STEP ONE: PAY DEPOSIT

All Session Fees should be paid in full at the time of booking to hold your appointment/date on the calendar. Appointments not paid in full will not be guaranteed. Session fees are non-refundable if cancelled without 2 weeks notice. If canceled prior to 2 weeks, 50% can be refundable upon request.

You should have received an email with a link to a PayPal invoice. You may pay your session fee two ways:
– Online through PayPal (do not need an account)
– Mail a check to: 309 Parkside Dr SE, Preston, MN 55965 (please notify us if paying by check)

 

STEP TWO: FILL OUT CLIENT CONTRACT

This step is very important for Diane to understand your vision and expectations of your session. Please fill this out prior to your session so Diane can prepare a customized experience for your session.
Reminder: This should be filled out from a computer for best function. The online form may not be fully compatible with model devices at this time.

STEP THREE: CHOOSE OUTFITS

“What should we wear?” is the most common question we get asked. Fashion and trends are always changing, but a quick search on Pinterest will help you visualize what you like and don’t like. A few tips from Diane for each type of session are below. If you have more specific questions or just want to chat about outfits, just simply email Diane at diane@dianehphotography.com

All Sessions: Stay away from logos, chipped or distracting nail polish, and neon colored shirts.

Newborn Sessions: I recommend no actual “outfits” for baby. I have plenty of headbands, wraps and accessories to “dress” baby and keep the tiny baby details as the focus on your photos. For Mom, Dad, and siblings, I recommend light and neutral. Creams, whites, and grays are classic and airy, & photograph beautifully next to newborn skin. Baby Sessions: Depending on the length of your session, I recommend 2-4 outfits. I have several rompers, tutus, and outfits you’re welcome to use, as well. And of course, dozens of headbands & accessories for your use! Shoes are not required, either. Unless baby is standing, we usually just see the bottoms of the shoes anyways, so I personally prefer to see cute baby toes.

Family Sessions: I recommend 1 coordinating outfit for the entire family. If you’d like individual or sibling photos, you’re welcome to bring an additional outfit for the kids, but definitely not required.

Maternity Sessions: 1-2 outfits. I also have a couple of beautiful maternity gowns you’re welcome to use.

Senior Sessions: Depending on the session length you selected, I recommend anywhere from 2-5 outfits. It is nice to have a variety of outfits (long flowy dress, shorts and top, nicer outfit, casual). Use this part of your session experience to really experiment and bring out your personality! I would also recommend at least one simple/neutral colored outfit, and one that will really pop. You will love the variety in your gallery. Pinterest has loads of ideas, and outfit examples that may seem unusual for a typical day outfit, but look great in photos. But most importantly, wear what YOU feel cute and comfortable in for your body.

 

STEP FOUR: YOUR PHOTO SHOOT!

This is the fun part! Everyone is dressed, lipgloss is on, everyone is in the car, nobody is running late or arguing (haha, wishful thinking, I’m sure!)… it’s time to come to the studio, relax, laugh, and just have fun together.

My studio address is 235 2nd Ave NW, Harmony MN 55939.

All newborn sessions are held at my studio. Typically, outdoor sessions are held in the field behind my studio unless discussed prior to the session.

 

STEP FIVE: PROOF YOUR IMAGES

About 2-3 weeks after your session, you will receive an email with instructions to proof and purchase you photos online. During peek months, it could take up to 4 weeks to receive your images. I understand the anticipation during this part of the process. I assure you I will get your images delivered as soon as they are ready. Thanks for waiting patiently!! Once you receive your email, your gallery will be available to view at www.dianehphotography.com/proofing

You can select and purchase your collection directly from your online gallery. We accept cash, and check, and credit cards.

 

STEP SIX: DOWNLOAD PHOTOS & ORDER PRINTS

Once your session is complete, and your images are selected, we will mail a package with your flash drive of images and a print release. Your have permission to print through any printer you choose, however, please know that we can not guarantee quality, nor troubleshoot any issues with any third-party printers.

We want to make sure you still have access to professional quality prints, therefore you will receive any email giving you access to our PROFESSIONAL PRINT LABS at OUR WHOLESALE PRICES! We calibrate all of our images to our print labs printers, unlike most consumer prints whose prints tend to auto-“correct” color, contrast, and cropping.

You will have access to your private gallery for as long as you need, and may easily share this link with friends and family. Also, you may DOWNLOAD YOUR IMAGES immediately from this link, even before your flash drive arrives in the mail.
