We hope you were able to enjoy your family over the Thanksgiving weekend. We were lucky enough to have our immediate Minnesota group all together. You would think with a photographer in the family that we woud have dozens of amazing family portraits. NOPE! It couldn’t be more opposite actually! It has been almost 5 years since our last professional portrait together. And as you can see, there are 3 little ones who weren’t even in that photo!
After a delicious Thanksgiving meal, we all ran outside to grab a quick shot! (Thank you to my office manager, Jill, for taking the shot for us)…

And yes (I’ve had several people ask), we semi-coordinated our outfits. That’s part of what is great about going “neutral”. We just said “wear something neutral” and everyone coordinated perfectly without all the stress. Plus, neutral is always in style in classic. So if you have an extended family shoot coming up, and you email us asking “HELP! What should we wear?!!”… from my own personal experience, I’m probably going to say neutrals!

Of course, we had to get a shot with all the grandkids and Grandpa & Grandma! (everyone looking AND smiling, a rare and cherished moment!)
